TU AIMES CUISINER? (LIKE COOKING?) http://www.takatrouver.net/recettes/index.php

So far this year, we've covered lots of topics:

  • Saying hello, goodbye and how we are feeling
  • Counting from 0 - 31
  • Days, months and dates
  • The date today and the date of our birthday
  • Some special dates in France
  • Our favourite colours
  • Telling someone whether or not we have a pet
  • Asking questions and giving replies

We learn in different ways:

  • We listen to our teacher
  • We try and say what she is saying
  • We watch videos of real children speaking French in France
  • We try to copy them and to work out what we would say to them
  • We sing lots of fun songs and do actions
  • We play games and do miming
  • We do puzzles and match words and pictures
  • We try and match written words to the sounds we hear
  • We have a go at our own writing
  • Some of us go for day visits to France
  • We try and fit some French into other topics and activities
  • We play French games in rainy playtimes and when we have a few spare minutes in the day.
