Admissions Arrangements are posted on our Overview page by the 1st May annually for the following years entry.

Consultation on our 2015/16 Admissions Arrangements has now taken place.  For full information and to view the arrangements, please refer to our Overview page.

ENTRY SEPTEMBER 2014

Letters were sent to applicants on 3rd March 2014.

The lowest ranked position we have been able to offer an academic place to is ranked position number 122.

The lowest musical aptitude position we have been able to offer a place to is ranked position number 12.

The furthest distance we have been able to offer a place to under our distance criteria is 526.65 metres from the school gate.

CONTINUING INTEREST

Applicants will automatically be included on our continuing interest (CI) list for consideration until the end of the summer term unless they have been allocated a school for which they expressed a higher preference.

Our next Open Afternoon will be on Tuesday 22nd July 2014 from 2.00pm-5.00pm. Prospective parents, current parents and alumni are all welcome to attend.

To  register your child for our Entrance Examination and/or Music Tests (this is NOT an application to the School) you should:-

  • Read our Admission Arrangements (available from May 2014).
  • Ensure that your Child’s permanent address is within one of the Local Priority Areas (LPAs) detailed below.  Only children living within our listed LPAs are invited to sit our tests.
  • Ensure your child is available for the dates of the tests. Dates are Monday 1st September 2014 for Verbal Reasoning Test; Saturday 6th September 2014 English and Maths Tests; Tuesday 2nd September 2014 Musical Aptitude Test.
  • Complete and submit the online Test Registration Form - available on this page from 8th May 2014.

Test results will be sent to you before the deadline for submitting your Local Authority Common Application Form. This information is intended to help you decide whether you wish to make an application to the school.

Before you register for our Entrance Exam and/or Music Tests please ensure your child’s permanent home address is within one of the listed areas below. Children from outside of these areas are not eligible to be considered under these criteria and therefore cannot take our tests.
