SECONDARY TRANSFER - SEPTEMBER 2014 - this takes you to the foot of this page.


On Wednesday 9th July 2014 letters detailing test arrangements were sent to all those that have registered for our tests.  If you have applied for the Musical Aptitude test and the Entrance exam please note the letters will arrive separately and possibly on different days.  Please allow a few days for your letter to arrive before contacting the school.  If you have not received your letter by Monday 14th July 2014, in the first instance please email the Admissions Department

Test results will be sent to you before the end of October. This information is intended to help you decide whether you wish to make an application to the school.

To apply for a place at the School (all applicants including Looked After Children, Locality, Sibling etc) you will need to:

  • Read our Admission Arrangements on our Overview page
  • Include the School as one of your preferences when you submit your Common Application Form (CAF) to your home Local Authority (1st September - 31st October 2014)

There is no longer a requirement to complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) for the School.

Before you register for our Entrance Exam and/or Music Tests please ensure your child’s permanent home address is within one of the listed areas below. Children from outside of these areas are not eligible to be considered under these criteria and therefore cannot take our tests.

The lowest ranked position we have been able to offer an academic place to is position number 129.

The lowest ranked position we have been able to offer a musical aptitude place to is position number 12.

The furthest distance we have been able to offer a place to under our distance criteria is 526.65 metres from the school.

Unsuccessful applicants will automatically be included on our continuing interest (CI) list for consideration until the end of the summer term unless they have been allocated a school for which they expressed a higher preference.
