***Additional Message from Dr Davison about Julius Caesar: "Congratulations to all students involved in the Upper School production of Julius Caesar. The modern setting and the three female Mark Anthonys led to a challenging evening for Shakespearean traditionalists. However, the students characterisation and passion for the play ensured the audience left with both a clear understanding of the play and real empathy for the challenges faced by the ancient Romans in protecting democracy. I was particularly impressed by Ben Purkiss and Oliver Savage as Brutus and Cassius who must have a career option with the RSC! My thanks to Mrs Barron and Mrs Nicolaides for their work in stage managing and lighting, and Miss Govier for the hundreds of hours of rehearsals and her excellent direction."
